In a surprise move Fujifilm is opening an Australian experiential camera and imaging store, showing confidence that they expect Sydney-siders will be willing to buy plenty of prosumer and pro Fujifilm camera gear.

The Sydney Fujifilm House of Photography opens on Thursday 7th July 2022 and follows in the footsteps of the successful concept store launch in the UK during 2019.

Commenting on the opening Tyler Yanase, CEO of FUJIFILM Australia, said:

“The Fujifilm House of Photography was launched to elevate a photographer’s experience with the Fujifilm brand, acting as a hub for them to explore, touch, trial and learn more about our portfolio of products and services through interactive play tables and spending quality time with a Fujifilm X-Pert, making it a must-visit for all photography enthusiasts”.

Fujifilm camera fans and those considering purchasing will be able to have a hands-on experience with several interactive Play Tables showcasing the X Series compact APS-C range, FUJINON lenses and the instax range.

They will also be able to try out different instax cameras, capturing selfies in the store to take away with them and have the opportunity to print instant photos directly from their smartphone using a range of instax printers.

For those who want to print their own existing digital photos professionally there will be two photo printing kiosks with same-day printing and an extensive range of personalised products to order for delivery to home.

Serious photographers and enthusiasts with a substantial camera buying budget will be able to get a sit-down, one-on-one personalised consultation with a Fujifilm team member including a hands-on experience and the opportunity to talk all things related to the Large Format GFX System cameras and GF lenses.

Photographers can put the Fujifilm X Series and GFX System cameras and lenses to the test in a professionally set up studio, featuring lights on boom stands for optimal lighting, product display stands and a tripod.

Complementing their Photography product range, Fujifilm will also showcase their high-end FUJINON Binoculars range, suitable for uses such as bird watching.
