HP Chromebook 116 White 6
HP and ChromeOS has been a good match for the last few years with HP developing quite the stable of hardware products, now HP is moving into trying to bring their most profitable business to ChromeOS: Printers. HP has released a new Chrome extension called HP Print for Chrome which will let you ‘Easily connect and print to HP printers on the same network of your Chrome device’.

The new extension allows you to print from any Chrome device, including Chromebooks, Chrome boxes, as well any Chrome browsers on Windows laptops and tablets (read MS Surface) connected to the same network. The printing is only local, otherwise you’ll need to make sure your printer is Google Cloud Print enabled, you can check this list to find out if your HP printer is eligible.

If you have a HP printer and run a ChromeOS device or even just the Chrome browser, this is a very worthy extension to install. Head over to the Chrome Web Store to install the app now.
