HTC 10
In what is becoming a tediously long teaser campaign, HTC has taken to their social channels today to espouse the Performance of their incoming HTC 10 device. As seen in the tweet below, today we’re informed “Not all phones are created equal. The fastest and smoothest Android. You’ll feel it. ”

As you can see, the phone is definitely rocking those capcacitive keys on either side of what’s presumed to be the front mounted fingerprint scanner.

In related news, a device was spotted going through GFXBench’s benchmark on the 28th of March declaring itself to be a HTC 10. It’s important to remember that these results are easily faked, however if real the benchmark shows some fairly good performance as well as letting the cat out of the bag on some of the hardware.

If accurate we could be seeing the HTC 10 include:

  • 2560 x 1440 (2k) 5.1″ display
  • Snapdragon 820
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32 GB of storage
  • 11 MP autofocus rear facing camera with 4K video
  • 4.8 MP front facing camera
  • Android 6.0.1

If it’s not already apparent large grains of salt are needed when reading these specs, the hardware could be a fake, or an engineering sample etc. With the results being so uncertain it’s folly to comment on any specific specification.

HTC’s online event is taking place on the 12th of April, so we don’t have long to find out if this really is the HTC 10.

If these specs were accurate would you consider the HTC 10? Let us know below.

Rumour has it because Samsung are manufacturing the SD820 they have an exclusive on it till April, that’s why htc are having a late announcement and why the G5 isn’t available yet?
Anyone else heard this?
