One of the best car racing games I have at the moment is Asphalt 6 which I picked up in last years 10c sale, I got pretty far in it but lost all my saves when I flashed my phone without backing it up. Now I can move onto the sequel Asphalt 7: Heat which has just arrived in the Google Play store for the comparatively low price of $0.99.
The new game features 60 different cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin and also a car that makes this game worth the $0.99 by itself the AMC DeLorean!!! You’ll race on tracks all around the world in places like Hawaii, Paris, London, Miami and Rio. The game features an all new multi-player mode which allows you to play 5 of your friends locally or online and keep track of who is doing the best.
From the look of the trailer the graphics look fantastic as well and based purely on the last game if this is as good or even better i’ll make the purchase as soon as I’ve finished playing The Dark Knight Rises. Head on over to the Google Play store to download the game and get racing.
Asphalt 7: Heat – Android Trailer
The game stutters on my SGSII running CM9 nightly. 🙁
Also does anyone know why I got charged .99c + $2.00 for the app?
Cheers.
Thanks for the tip Dan. I’ve just purchased it. 1.36GB is gonna take a while to download though.
Yes the size of 1 game like this makes Google’s decision to not include an expansion card slot in the Nexus 7 even more annoying. This game by itself is now taking up ~10% of the usable space on mine
Yeah, if you’ve got lots of games you’ll run out of space quickly. Maybe a 32GB version is a good idea. I never manage to fill 16GB but some people do easily.
Time to spend some more of that $25 credit I think.
Looks good for 0.99c. Let’s see how well it plays on my Nexus 7
