It’s looking like the Galaxy Note III won’t be unveiled at Samsung’s upcoming UNPACKED Episode 2 2013 event. SamMobile, you have a pretty good track record of all things Samsung, are claiming that Samsung are looking to show off an Android-powered smartwatch dubbed that Galaxy Gear.
Not much is currently known about the Galaxy Gear. All we have to go off is the above illustration taken from a patent Samsung filed regarding a smartwatch.
Given the technology at Samsung’s disposal, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility to assume the display on the Galaxy Gear will be flexible. And given Samsung’s persistence with using plastic, we can also assume the Galaxy Gear isn’t going to be particularly weighty, either.
No matter what it will encompass, we’re all waiting with bated breath to see what Samsung has in store for us come UNPACKED Episode 2 2013.
