Is there a major difference, in sound, between the Mini and the Home?
Home Mini is fair quality, but nothing to rave about. Home (Full) is pretty decent, but again it’s not ‘Great’ on its own. I do find when I pair it into multi-room audio with a selection of Home and Home Mini it does sound a lot better.

I keep telling myself I want to buy a Google Home, and then I cannot come up with anything that I would use it for on an ongoing basis. Help me out, those of you who have, use and love these devices: how will this make my life better/easier/more fun? I have a 5 and 8 year old at home, and a Sonos speaker if that changes the picture?
My 6 year old uses Home to turn on the lights, Netflix etc. also asks it questions all the time.

Highly unlikely, there’s no real reason for a Home V2 yet. Home Mini is out, Home Max is going to be out in the US in the next week, with further markets to follow.
