There was a raft of fashion labels announcing Android Wear watches last year. At IFA, fashion label Armani joined the throng with the Armani Emorio Display Connected smartwatch. There’s been no major announcement, but a trip to Harvey Norman shows they’re here and looking good.
The watch is selling from $549 for a Gold casing model with black leather band, but is also available with a stylish Black or Silver casing with matching metal link bands, also in Black and Silver respectively for $649.
Spec wise, the Emporio Armani Display Connected watches are powered by the Snapdragon 2100 platform, with a fully round AMOLED diplay. There’s a lot the watch has in looks, but in terms of specs there’s no heart-rate monitor, GPS or NFC built-in so you will mainly be buying this for the looks.
If this is your jam, then head over to the Harvey Norman website, or into one of their stores to check it out in person.
What a joke of a product and a complete waste! AW is not going to take off with lackluster products like this being released…
