Budget smartphone brand realme has launched its 2021 wearable line-up that includes the Buds Air Pro and realme watch s.
The new wearables seem to centre around both earbuds and a smart watch that are aimed at the budget conscious. So what are the products? Let’s have a look shall we.
The realme Buds Air Pro have been designed provide up to 25-hour battery life, 94ms super low latency and capabilities to cancel noise that’s up to 35 decibels along with 10mm Bass Boost Driver that is coupled with an advanced Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) that enhances the bass for a deeper and richer sound.
There is also a transparency mode that enables users to speak freely with those around you without having to take your earphones out, along with a Smart Wear Detection that enables the Buds Air Pro to detect the earbuds wearing condition in real time, pausing the tunes the moment they are taken out. This last feature is similar to other earbuds offer such as the Power Beats Pro wireless earbuds.
Speaking on the Buds Air Pro launch, Andy Yang, MD at realme Australia, has stated that:

The Buds Air Pro will be available from the 4th February, through the following retailers, such as realme e-store, JB HI-FI, Officeworks, Bing Lee, Make it Mine, mobileciti, 5GWORLD, Essential Appliance Rentals, Amazon, eBay and Catch.com for $199.
The other wearable device at the launch was the realme watch s, which as the name suggests, is a 1.3-inch touchscreen (360 x 360), 390mAh battery that can offer up to 15 days battery life, a heart rate sensor paired with a Blood Oxygen Monitor, Bluetooth version 5.0, along with 16 Sports Modes and Smart Notifications.
It’s unsure if the realme watch s operating system the smart watch is running, but its more than likely a proprietary software and not WearOS, cause lets be honest, WatchOS is in desperate need of a major overhaul.
