When it comes to PC gaming there are a few items that really can make or break your experience. Having a poor quality mouse that’s uncomfortable to use is one of those. If you’ve ever had a mouse that is comfortable but made of a material that makes your hand hot, that’s a problem too. The Marsback Zephyr Pro is an interesting take on a gaming mouse that aims to address these areas.
It has a built-in, RGB lit fan that blows air directly onto your palm to keep it cool, dry and comfy. Being a small fan running at high revolution is said to reduce buzzing noises and evaporate any sweat build up. Like many other gaming focussed peripherals, the Zephyr Pro comes with customisation software. This allows users to customise the visualisation and use experience from the mouse.
The specs of the mousse are pretty sharp as well, offering users:
- A PMW3389 optical sensor with a maximum 16000 DPI and a scan rate of 12000 fps
- Acceleration tracking up to 50g and a maximum movement speed of 400 in/s
- Switches tested to 50 million click life
- 7 pre-programmed DPI settings for quick change between gaming and office modes
- Teflon coated feet for smooth, consistent movement
- 1.8 Meter paracord to minimise snags and cable tangles
If you’re a gamer who appreciates their mouse being lightweight, the design is something you’ll really appreciate. The honeycomb shell not only reduces weight but increase heat dissipation and ventilation. The product designer, Gary Lin said:
Zephyr Pro’s implementation should deliver flawless tracking, even if you move the mouse as fast as you can. The ergonomic symmetric design is for great hand feeling and stress-free use. I love the built-in RGB lit fan as I am the one with active sweat glands that produce excessive sweat while gaming.
