As is often the way, the June 2022 security patch for Android brings a number — 23 to be precise — of fixes to the OS. They’re typically stability and minor security issues, while anything truly major would be fixed immediately. This time, however, there are a number of new features dropping too.
You can become a music maker with Pocket Operator, a new app designed to let you turn your videos into music. If you’re into filters and changing looks, there’s a great pathway to enjoy here too.
Other feature additions include:
- The ability to add your vaccination card to the home screen (You can already store it in G Pay)
- Sound Amplifier now has conversation mode allowing hearing impaired to amplify the people around them
- Extra languages added to chat translation
- Real Tone filters for better skin tone in photos
So there’s plenty of advancement still happening on the Pixel device range, surely, in readiness for the already announced: Pixel 7.
