If you’re setting up a home security system, then cameras are almost certainly on your shopping list. We recently reviewed the Wyze Cam V3 and V3 Pro cameras and found them to be excellent value offerings. The company has now released the Cam Pan V3 offering more coverage with a single device.
The Cam Pan V3 achieves this by being a pan and tilt camera sporting an auto-tracking feature, allowing a 360-degree field of view. There’s a huge feature set beyond just the pan and tilt capabilities including:
- 1080p HD Colour Night Vision
- IP65 weatherproof
- Motion and sound detection notifications
- Easy installation in a variety of positions, indoors or out
Clearly, a single camera that sweeps through an area is not as effective for full coverage as multiple, fixed cameras. Not everyone needs or wants a significant surveillance system presence in their home. The Pan Cam V3 is a happy middle ground, with consistent coverage across an area of your home following the DORI (Detection | Observation | Recognition | Identification) model we’ve previously detailed.
