After the factory image for the Nexus 7 (2012) Wifi leaked last night, and Google announced that Lollipop was on the way this morning, it appears that the Nexus Factory Images page is seeing some updating right now, with Android 5.0 Factory images for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi, Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi and Nexus 10 joining the Nexus 9 and Nexus Player images as available to download.
The build version varies across devices, from LRX21L, through LRX21Q depending on which device you have. The Nexus 4 update isn’t available as yet, but we’re hoping it won’t be too far away. The Factory images can be found on the Google Nexus Factory images page, or down below :
Wow. My nexus5 took 5 or more minutes to complete the boot animation the first time. Thought I bricked it for a second. Just as I was about to force it off by holding all the buttons it showed the welcome screen. *phew*
Had the same issue.
But i remembered reading that if the screen becomes brighter (which it did), its a good sign.
All is well in lollipop-land.. now to find a cheap N7
I don’t see a need for root access as there isn’t anything 3rd party worth installing. As soon as the xposed framework gets the update to work with ART, i’ll look into root access, Super SU and titanium backup.
I’m doing fine so far with 3rd party apps.
Installed on my Nexus 7 (2013).
Love it so far, never bothered with dev previews so this is my first Lollipop experience.
Will be flashing a GPE ROM on my M8 when they’re available
What about the stock HTC One M7 and Saumsung S4?!
Hope we get a stock HTC One M7 rom to download!

brb, desert is being served. lol
Currently installing. Taking it’s ‘sweet’ a$$ time…
Everything up and running on my N5.
Painless – Just had to restart my phone after the flashing was complete so it could reset my play services and all my apps could be re installed.
Delicious so far
Now we play the waiting game for Xposed to work with Android 5.x
Did you gain root already?

Well, that didn’t last long.. Root access -> Custom recovery -> Custom Kernel = installed and loving double tap to wake.
Really should have been a standard feature!!
