After much build up and leaks, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 tablets were formally announced yesterday in 8″ and 9.7″ form factors. The tablets will be available in ‘global markets, starting from August, 2015’ so we reached out to Samsung Australia to confirm if Australia is a part of their global launch plans, and today they have confirmed we will be seeing the tablets here.]
While they were unable to confirm pricing, nor a local release date for the tablets, Samsung Australia did advise :
Samsung Electronics Australia is excited to confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be made available in Australia later this year. We will provide pricing and availability details for our latest flagship tablet range closer to the local launch.
Last year’s Galaxy Tab S tablets were quite the standouts on the local scene, with few tablets matching the lovely high-resolution screen, specifications and 6.6mm thin profile.
