Life’s little accidents can happen at any time. Most people will have experienced themselves, or know someone who has dropped their phone, or had it come in contact with liquid unintentionally at some stage. With a little forethought though, you’ll be able to sail through those types of incidents and more, if you grab a Lifeproof FRĒ case.

LifeProof makes some of the most rugged phone cases available and the Lifeproof FRĒ case for the Galaxy S6 is no different. The cases actually meet military standards and are water, dirt, snow and shock-proof.

The cases meet Military Standard 810G-516.6 which is a US based metric for drop and shock protection, allowing for drops up to 2m. According to Lifeproof, the FRĒ also meets the ‘international standard for Ingress Protection (IP)’ which gives the case a life underwater of up to an hour at a depth of up to 2m, and a dustproof rating that will withstand 8 hours in a whirlwind of talc.

Despite all the protection, you can still access all the ports and buttons on your Galaxy S6, including the Fingerprint Sensor and Heart Rate Sensor. You can still use the touchscreen, but the FRĒ also includes a Built-in scratch protector.

Lifeproof offer four colour options for the FRĒ, with Black, White/Gray, Coral and Blue for a RRP of $99.95 from the Lifeproof website or in retail stores at JB Hi-Fi, Telstra and Optus stores.

They’re exclusive to one American carrier, hardly a phone that’s easy to get your hands on.
