LG G Flex Mobicity

If a phone that can flex, curve with the side of your face and apparently heal like Wolverine if you scratch it, then the LG G Flex is the phone you’ve been looking for and Mobicity is about the only place in Australia that you can get it….so far.

At this stage, Mobicity was unable to give an ETA for a delivery apart from hoping that it will arrive this month, but they are taking pre-orders for the curved screen LG G Flex in black with an asking price of Update: It seems the price has been updated the maths on this are now : Asking price of $1,199.95(Ex-GST), as the price of the phone is over the $1000 import threshold, you then pay 10% GST on top of $120 and a further $52.00 Customs and Courier fee giving a total price of $1,371.95.$1239.95(ex-GST), the phone will be delivered for free but as the phone is over the $1000 import threshold, you will be required to pay the 10% GST on top, as well as a $124.00 Customs and Courier GST Processing Fee bringing the total price up to $1415.95.

Along with the self healing back, the LG G Flex also sports the rear mounted keys of the LG G2. The model from Mobicity will be the F-340K from KT Telecom and will possibly have a Korean TV tuner on-board but will most likely not work in Australia. Spec wise, the LG G Flex comes with :

It’s not a phone that can flex. It’s a phone that’s permanently curved. C’mon, Ausdroid, stop pasting PR lies verbatim from press releases.

GregAndo

Can anybody say “Nexus 6”?

Gregorian

Oh wow. Is that price a record?

Harpersneil

It’s a record for an Android possibly, but it’s short change for some of the crappy devices coming out of the Fruit inspired Phone company!
