axon-7-max-01

It looks as if two Axon 7’s just wasn’t enough for ZTE, with a 3rd ‘Max’ variant leaking out. The Max seems to be a 5″ variant of the 5.5″ Axon 7 keeping a very similar aesthetic to the original device. The Axon 7 Max is rumoured to be launched today, however someone seems to have jumped the gun and gun and released renders of the device early.

From a specs perspective, the 6″ device is packing dual rear lenses, a fingerprint sensor, USB C, a headphone jack, and bottom firing speakers. We haven’t got any clear leaks about internal storage or RAM apparently, the Axon 7s Snapdragon 820 will be downgraded to a Snapdragon 625. If true it makes it unlikely that he Axon 7 Max will be marketed as a “premium” device and will be more targeted as a large style phone.

With the Axon 7 due to start shipping in Australia any day now, and no known availability for the already announced Axon 7 Mini, we’re not expecting to see this device in Australia too soon. We’ll keep an eye out for the official launch ad let you know what ZTE Australia has to say.
