Google Camera
The Google Camera, which received a massive update last month when it was released to Google Play as a stand-alone app for devices running, has received an update which restores some features previously removed and adds a few new ones.

The update brings about some new features like a choice of full frame or cropped photos (including options for 4:3 or 16:9 on the Nexus 5) for both the front and rear cameras. There’s also new options in Panorma Mode for fisheye and wide angle. There’s also a new splash screen which pops up when you first launch the camera which shows the new crop feature.

As well as new features, there’s the return of an old one which didn’t make the cut in the new UI. The countdown timer has returned and you can now hit the three dots to enter settings where you can select a countdown timer of 3 or 10 seconds.

The update is rolling out now, in the usual staggered manner, but if you can’t wait for the update, the APK has been captured and is now hosted (with mirrors) over on Android Police
