The World Game - SBS App
The exclusive rights to the largest sporting event on the planet, rest with SBS and today SBS has enabled ‘World Cup’ mode in The World Game App on Google Play. ‘World Cup’ mode enables streaming of matches through the app to your Android and iOS apps.

The World Game app doesn’t just offer the ability to watch all 64 matches live and in full, it also offers ability to rewind and replay parts from multiple camera angles. There’s also full catch-up viewing of matches included in the app, which means you can in theory watch all 64 of those World Cup 2014 matches.

Video is a large part of the update, but sports are all about statistics and The World Game app includes statistics on players, teams and matches. And don’t forget social, you can tweet about or share to Facebook from the app.

The app is compatible with both Android tablets and phones running Android 4.0 and above. There’s a nice layout included for both phone and tablets, with a nice slide-out navigation drawer to make accessing everything easy.
