instagram For Android
Instagram has updated today, adding a new feature which some will love – Caption Editing, as well as updating their Discovery tab to help you discover new and interesting Instagram feeds.

The caption editing feature allows you to go back and edit your posts, because as Instagram says ‘When you share a moment to Instagram, a typo shouldn’t get in the way’. Apparently this has been one of the top requests for a while now, and it’s now here. Simply scroll back through your feed and find those niggly posts and tap the menu button (three dots) and select Edit – then off you go.

Also added is the Instagram Explore tab. To start with the icon has changed from the compass rose to a magnifying glass, making it a little easier to discern the function of the tab for newer users. Added to the top of the Explore section are two tabs – Photos and People. The Photos tab has the same grid of photos for you to scroll through, while the new People tab has a list of interesting users you can check out.

The update to Instagram 6.10 is now available in Google Play to download (and in the App store for iOS). If only more services would let you go back and edit captions or….tweets (yes, Twitter we’re looking at you).
