Google Play Valentines Day
Love is in the air. At least it will be next weekend when Valentines day rolls around and Google is helping you get prepared by offering some discounts on romantic tracks, books and movies as well as giving you a couple of albums to use as mood music or romantic book to get in the mood.

Music

There’s a “>focus in Google Play Music to check out where you can grab two albums filled with classical music being given away: Play: Romantic and Play Classical: Valentine’s. The albums contain a number of tracks such as Piano Quintet in A Major, D. 667 “The Trout”: Andante and Carmen: Act I: L’amour est un oiseau rebelle (Habanera).

If something more contemporary is more to your taste there’s a heap of romantic tracks from more modern artists to grab for just $0.49. From John Paul Young’s Love is in the Air through to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud and a lot of others in between.

Books

For the more textual among you, you can check out the romantic books feature in Google Play Books which are all priced under $7. There’s a number of titles on offer from Loretta Hill’s Operation Valentine which is being given away for free through to a range of titles priced up to $6.39.

There’s not a huge amount of well known authors on offer, but there’s a large selection to choose from. If your idea of a romantic night in is with a good book, then you should be right to go here.

Movies

If you love a good movie – and who doesn’t? Then Google Play Movies Valentines Day focus is for you. There’s a range of titles included in the focus, though not all of them are on-sale. Some good bargains can be had however with movies such as The King & I and Shakespeare in Love discounted to $6.99 to buy ($7.99 in HD), or Somethings Gotta Give discounted to $9.99 ($11.99 in HD) from $12.99.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) The Notebook will still set you back $12.99, but you can experience the re-release of Titanic for a discounted price of $8.49($9.49 in HD).
