Microsoft-Hyperlapse

Late last week we reported that Microsoft had launched its Hyperlapse app onto Google Play in beta, with limited device compatablity. Microsoft has now extended that list to encompass more models from manufacturers such as Sony, Motorola, Xiaomi and more.

The addition of the new smartphones to the beta app comes on top of the already supported list including some of the current popular Android phones. The new smartphones which are now able to partake in the beta app testing include the:

  • Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
  • OnePlus One
  • LG G3
  • Xiaomi Mi4
  • Motorola Droid Turbo
  • Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

Previous and current smartphones and tablets supported include the:

  • Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Nexus 5, Nexus 6 & Nexus 9
  • HTC One M8 & One M9
  • Sony Xperia Z3

If you’re wondering again what Hyperlapse beta app is all about, its basically an video editing tool for your videos which enables you to create smooth, short, action-packed clips from any of your existing videos. You don’t need a Microsoft Account to partake in the beta test (at least at this stage) or any account bar your Google+ account. If you have one of the new or currently supported smartphones or tablet and wish to partake in the beta app testing then all you need to do is to sign up to the public beta testing via Google+ Communities via the link here.
