DOmain - APp Award
Australian property site Domain.com.au has done very well at the 2015 Design 100 Australian App Design Awards, which were held this week in Melbourne, taking home a number of awards on the night.

The biggest was the Design Champion award, in recognition of the quality and volume of the work produced. Domain also hit it big in other categories, taking home a Gold Award for Best Mobile Marketing Campaign and the Gold Award for the Domain Home Price Guide app which they released in August. They also took home several Silver Awards, for their wearable apps in the Best Connected Device and Wearable Tech category and for their app and website product in the Home and Living category.

Domain’s Chief Product Officer, Damon Pezaro, noted that Domain’s success last night is reflective of the hard work and drive of the team at Domain.com.au.

Over the last 12 months, our team at Domain has strived to provide consumers with the most innovative and helpful tech solutions they could need during their property journey. Our core aim is to simplify the property process and give property hunters all the information they need, at their fingertips, wherever they are.

Along with our wearable apps, our Home Price Guide is one of our key creations and we’re so pleased to see the tool – which provides users with a rich abundance of property data – recognised in such a forum.

The Domain team were recently featured by the Google Development team as a success story in following Android guidelines and having that build success in the market place. The feature focused on Product Manager, Henrique Marassi, and Android Developer, Gary Lo talking about their use of Google’s services to help their app – and their design savvy has obviously paid off in spades.

The Domain app, and indeed the Home Price Guide feature, which gives you sales and rental histories as well as estimates for properties in Australia are fantastic and well worth a look if you’re in the market for a new property – or just a sticky beak ;). To check them out, head over to the Google Play store to install the app, or you can give it a look on the Domain website.
