Google Play App and Game Deal of the Week continues this week with what we consider to be Android royalty: Nova Launcher Prime taking part in the weekly sale, as well as another game to while away the hours, both knocked down to a measly 20c each.

Nova Launcher Prime
We all have our favourite launcher, from the stock Google Now Launcher, all the way through the OEM launchers and into third party clients. One of the oldest third party launchers, Nova Launcher Prime is one of the go to launchers for many people and at $0.20 it’s an absolute steal.
Infinitely customisable, Nova Launcher offers all the goodies you could possibly expect from a custom launcher, so many in fact it has set the standard when it comes to customisation for many of the third party launchers today. Nova Launcher Prime is the premium version of Nova Launcher, it’s actually an unlock, which means you’ll have to have the standard Nova Launcher installed first, once installed though Nova Launcher Prime unlocks a heap of features not included in the standard version, including:
• Gestures – Swipe, pinch, double tap and more on the home screen to open your favorite apps
• Unread Counts – Never miss a message. Unread count badges for Hangouts, SMS, Gmail and more using the TeslaUnread plugin
• Custom Drawer Groups – Create new tabs or folders in the app drawer
• Hide Apps – Keep a clean app drawer by hiding never used apps
• Icon Swipes – Set custom actions for swiping on app shortcuts or folders
• More scroll effects – Such as Wipe, Accordion, and Throw
There’s been a few apps we’ve deemed ‘mainstays’ of the Ausdroid team and Nova Launcher Prime is definitely in the launcher options for every member of the Ausdroid team. We cannot recommend this launcher highly enough, even if you just want to test it out, 20c is nothing – go grab it.
Game Deal of the Week
M&M Clash of Heroes
Released by Ubisoft, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is a ‘Puzzle RPG’ which has been re-mastered for Android with optimisation for touch screens. The premise of the game is ‘5 young Heroes leading their clans to save the world of Might & Magic’.
The game actually looks fairly good from the launch trailer, with what appears to be a manga like visual style. Clash of Heroes is all inclusive, with no in-app purchases listed and it comes with a massive 20+ hours of campaigns to play through in 5 different settings. Players can explore maps full of knights, elves, wizards, necromancers and demons using 10 different heroes through the game, with 40 units and 50 artifacts available to create your ultimate army.
Not a fan of these games myself, but at 20c it’s worth it to have in your list of games – I mean what else is that Opinion Rewards credit going to go towards? One note is that the game takes up 900MB of space, so take note.
