Now On Tap
Today Google has announced expanded features for the headline feature from Android 6.0 (Marshmalllow), adding a bunch of new features that may make your Christmas period a little easier.

Google knows this time of year is a time for families to get together and tracking flight information is getting easier. Yesterday Google updated trip bundles so they can be shared easily, today you can use Google Now On Tap to quickly look up flight details. Even if you haven’t been forwarded a trip bundle and only have the flight number from a text message, searching Google Now On Tap for flight info will now show all you need to know.

Google has also used Google Now On Tap for making tracking of deliveries easier, now you simply launch Google Now On Tap while your confirmation email is open and you’ll get tracking information for your order.

Also expanded in this new set of updates is faster access to related articles, if you’re reading up on the upcoming Star Wars movie, or who won the last UFC, you can load up Now On Tap to get related articles suggested to you. And that ‘share screen’ function we saw over the weekend? That’s now official too with Google acknowledging the feature and announcing it will arrive over the coming days.

Last but by no means least, Google has also expanded language support to include French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Korean speakers.

Google’s Now On Tap feature from Android 6.0 Marshmallow hasn’t been the winner we expected at least at the start, but like all Google features they’re going to try hard to make sure you want to use it. These new features add those small touches we’ve come to expect from Google, now we just have to start using them.

Can you please explain what a “trip bundle” is. I’ve never heard of that.
