If healthy eating or simply just having some fun with a tower defense style game is your aim this week, the Google Play Deals of the Week are for you. Google Play has discounted Oh She Glows and Kingdom Rush Frontiers to just 20c each this week, so grab them while they’re fresh.

Going vegan can be a rewarding experience in terms of your health as well as reducing your impact on the environment. The meals though can be a little drab, which is where New York Times bestselling author Angela Liddon and her blog OhSheGlows.com comes in. She’s gathered up a heap of delicious vegie based meals and put them in one place, and here’s the best way to access them.
The app is a quick way to search over 90 recipes, of which 75 are gluten free. You can check out the beautiful photographs of each meal and search for recipes using filters for dietary/allergy info, season, dish type, and more.
In the app you can customise your favourites list and even add notes to the recipe (add more meat!) if you change it. You can even save your favourite recipes offline to take with you anywhere.
There are in-app purchases in the app, which will set you back $0.99 per item, so keep an eye on that – but according to reviews all the recipes are on the website so if you need to you can check them out there.

Google Play Game Deal of the Week
Ironhide Games has made a fun looking tower defense style game with Kingdom Rush Frontiers.
The game is just one of a number of ‘Kingdom Rush’ games, which sees you take control of a bunch of new troops to lead through a number of different environments like deserts, jungles and the underworld. There’s over 40 different types of enemies to fight, and plenty of different reinforcements to bring in ranging from Meteor Strikes and Freeze Bombs to medieval devastating nukes.

The game does have some in-app purchases – $1.39 – $14.49 per item – which let you update your towers and more, so you may want to watch out for that.
