At the All That Matters conference in Singapore, Twitter has unveiled a new range of premium live, and in-stream video streaming content.

The new streaming video options are a result of 35 new partnerships with content creators in the Asia-Pacific region including Channel 7, the Arias, International Cricket Council, Fox Sports, Riot Games and more. Content streamed will include the Australian Open, the Ashes, AFL matches, e-Sports events and lots more.

Twitter streamed 1200 hours of video content in Q2 this year, but will expand this massively with these new partnerships. Twitter intends to bring hundreds of hours of new and exclusive video and live original programming their users providing a compelling use case for the platform.

Maya Hari, Managing Director of Asia Pacific, Twitter said

Digital video consumption is growing rapidly in Asia Pacific and estimated to grow to over a billion by 2020. Introducing over 35 live and in-stream video sponsorship deals today to APAC advertisers will strengthen the success of our only-on-Twitter experience in the region and globally, combining high quality streaming video with conversation on what’s happening in the world right now.
