Instagram has today unveiled some new additions for their Stories feature: Stories Archive, and Stories Highlights, letting you re-live or re-share Stories after they expire.

Stories Archive is a new section in your Instagram profile that lets you access your favourite stories after they’ve expired. From this section you can choose to re-share those stories. All stories will be auto-archived into a private database, with the option to turn this off if you don’t want it. You can also choose to share those stories to Highlights, another new feature.

Stories Highlights is for the Stories addicts out there, allowing you to remix and share highlights from Archived Stories. Simply hit the ‘+’ button in the Highlights section of profile just below your bio, and you can mix and match your highlights, add new cover photos or title and then share.

Instagram has switched on both Stories Archive and Stories Highlights as part of the Instagram 25 release for Android and iOS which is out in the Play Store.
