Data Hungry? Good news, you can now get a data plan with either 50GB or 70GB of downloads from MVNO Amaysim.
The new data-only plans are effective from today offering new and existing customers a bunch of data on a 28-day renewal on a non-contract basis meaning you can leave any time you want. The new plans cost $65 for the 50GB option, or you can go the whole hog and get 70GB of data for $80, joining the existing 2GB or 6GB plans available currently for $15/$35 respectively.
amaysim’s Mobile Commercial Director, Maik Retzlaff, said
We know Aussies are data hungry and there’s limited bang for your buck in high data plans on the market right now. The new data-only offerings are perfect for iPads, tablets or dongles, and will provide peace of mind for high data users, whether they’re streaming the latest Netflix release, working on the go, or indulging in some online shopping.

These new options bring Amaysim in line with other MVNOs on the Optus network. The statement that there is “limited bang for buck in high data plans on the market right now” is simply a lie. Exetel, OVO and jeenee have had similar options available for a long time. They aren’t doing anything new, just catching up with the competition.
