Techanist is reporting that the Galaxy Tab is currently being tested on all Carriers, which isn’t all that much of a surprise given it was videoed a few weeks back in Sydney. I have heard some word that Optus are getting serious about it, but nothing as of yet has been confirmed. I wouldn’t be surprised if it popped up on VHA, given they can hide things pretty well & Vodafone UK are getting it.

Quite a bit of speculation. Where you out of viable news so you had to make some up? How about we wait and see the actual product working in real life. Then if it is an issue we can discuss. All the video of the Galaxy Tab shows things running perfectly.

I’d most likely get a wifi-only version if the price is good enough, can’t see myself getting a 3G version with Optus or any other carrier, my SGS is good enough for 3G 😛

ilzy

plus with wifi tethering on the SGS through 3G, it’d kinda make the 3G SGT almost pointless 😉

Niall

You need 3G to get certified, ie, no phone modem = no Google Market.

Niall

Does anyone want this? Not cheap enough for me 🙁

I agree, hopefully the carriers can get it heavily subsidised and make it worth while. 49 a month with like 4-5 gigs of data i think would be a reasonable price
