So Telstra have just put up a post on Telstra Exchange detailing what technology was launched at CES and the year ahead in tech. The first thing we noticed is there are two pictures of the Motorola Atrix which was announced at CES and is heading to AT&T as well as Rogers in Canada. Why is that important? Because they all run 850MHz 3G networks, just like Telstra, so there’s a connection made.

Next up is tablets. Telstra noted that there are Tablets running Android 3.0 launched at CES that are NextG compatible and will make their way to Australia. We’ve managed to narrow it down the Viewsonic ViewPad 7 and the Dell Streak 7 (which is confirmed coming to Aus, but not sure which carrier). After a bit of Googlin’ we found that Telstra were looking to stock the HTC ‘Scribe’ or ‘Flyer’ 7″ Tablet, but it was delayed due to technical difficulties, so it could indeed be a Tablet set to launch in the future. Now we sit and wait for announcements, or at least more hints 😉
