We’ve got some more news that we’re hearing from inside the Telstra camp. This time it’s word that two new tablets from Samsung and Motorola will be hitting the nations biggest telco before the end of the year.

The first is a next generation Samsung Galaxy Tab — much like the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab that launched last year. There wasn’t much to go by from our source, however, I’m expecting it to be the Galaxy Tab 7.7 that Samsung are going to launch at IFA in Berlin on September 1st. It will feature pretty much the same specifications as the original Galaxy Tab except for a Super AMOLED display and possibly a dual-core CPU.

The next tablet is a next generation Motorola XOOM. Once again, details were scarce with our source, however, I’m thinking this news lines up nicely with the rumour Lucas posted a little while back which speculated that the Motorola XOOM 2 would launch here in Australia before Christmas.
