If you’ve been waiting out for the Samsung Galaxy Note, MobiCity are touting themselves as being one of the first retailers in the world to offer it. The 5.3-inch phoneblet (phone / tablet) from Samsung is powered by a 1.4GHz Dual-Core CPU and features a 1280×800 resolution display with 285ppi. The size of the device may throw some people off, however, there have been a few commenters around here saying they wouldn’t mind getting one. We’ll be reviewing one very shortly if you’re still sitting on the fence about it.

Samsung announced earlier this month that they’re planning on bringing the Galaxy Note to Australia early next year. There’s still no decided carrier, though.

Funny how some of the estores state NFC is optional but don’t give you the option to buy one with it.

millennius.com.au announced on twitter they are selling this phone also

I’m more keen to know battery life then anything else…if it has outstanding battery life that alone will make me buy this. As soon as someone knows…post! Please 🙂

reports surfacing that it’s a 2500mah battery that lasts 2days under normal usage

Do u know if it has external battery?? Like htc desire hd so u can just buy them separately

The more I read about the note the more I like! Looking forward to the review

Now that’s a phone! 🙂 Keep us up2date with that one please as well as the Samsung Captivate Glide!

need pic of this held up to face to see what it looks like

I don’t care.  I know I will look like a damn fool holding a pancake to the side of my head.
But I want one.

Sounds intruiging; and definitely not HUGE – only 0.6″ larger than the Galaxy Nexus (though bezel size could play a big factor).  Definitely wouldn’t consider one without having held it in my hand first though!

Any news on the galaxy tab 7.7. I heard it coming to us via telstra. will it have ics inside.

is this the 16gb or 32gb version?

Any word on if or when the ics update is coming?
