But let’s face it, if you`re after the Prada phone it’s not the specs you’re really interested in, it’s the design. With PRADA’s signature Saffiano pattern to the back, the phone is all finished in classic black and with the large 4.3″ screen on the front it’s certainly going to stand out. The phone is designed with minimal hard keys, with a power button on top and volume keys on the left hand side. The phone offers a specially created user interface featuring a unique black, grey and white menu and icons, unfortunately this is all running Gingerbread instead of Ice Cream Sandwich however LG has promised an upgrade ‘later in 2012’.

LG has announced that actor Edward Norton and Ukrainian/Canadian model Daria Werbowy are the new faces of the PRADA phone by LG 3.0, please enjoy the official press shot :

I personally wouldn’t even look at this phone but I’m after specs when it comes to phones I purchase and this phone isn’t marketed at me, so I expect that they will probably sell, the fact that the phone is the third iteration in the partnership between Prada and LG indicates that they have sold enough units in the past to warrant another run. What do you think, will this be your next phone?

Wow almost $800 for a phone with such average and out dated specs, plus attached to Vodafail? Yea no thank you, for that price if I wanted to be unique (and by that I mean do what evey one else does) I would just buy an iPhone

Wasn’t there a “Prada” phone released by LG about 3 or so years ago? and even that was around $500…

Daniel Tyson

This is the 3rd ‘Prada’ branded phone that LG has produced, the fact its made it to 3 tells me they`ve been happy enough with sales figures on the last 2 to warrant this 3rd one. I`ve never seen one in the wild though, guess I don`t hang out in the right circles!!

AlexGerontzos

Ah I see, I have only seen one and I mean one in the wild and that happened to be my girlfriends sisters phone looked like about the size of an xperia mini..

$799 outright on Vodafail? No sale.

unsure if this will go down well in the UK, previous versions havent done too much to be honest with the UK public focused more on HTC and Samsung.
If I can add a link to my UK blog on android that would be appreciated.

If you wanted a phone just for its brand-name wouldn’t you get an apple?

So it’s selling point is it’s looks, but it seems very average in that aspect as well…
Does that mean they expect to sell based solely on the 5 letters ‘PRADA’ ?

Hikari0307

I don’t think most readers of this website would be considering this as their next phone ahaha

“What do you think, will this be your next phone?”
Not a chance in hell….

Phone Apocalypse UK

It’s quite a strange phone and I have no idea who would prefer to purchase it over a new HTC or Samsung phone.
