Believe it or not, the Google Drive for Android application was developed right here in Australia — more specifically: Google’s offices in Sydney. The Google Australia team were also behind the social commenting on shared files on Google Drive. The most impressive feature they developed — I believe — is the search functionality that allows you to search your pictures for certain objects (your dog, for example) even if there’s no sign of “dog” in the filename. Drive – Presentation on Nexus ICS 4.0It does not allow me to select settings easily. The window appears but trying to select from the options to open as pptx, pdf or presentation slides is difficult, unachievable or plain irritating. I sent 20minutes on it cause i didnt want it to fail…but in the end I gave up!
Still not have been able to switch from presentation to presentation notes!

i joined Google drive but after reading the terms and conditions and then seeing the blogs on it I wont be using it for anything work-wise. I think it is ridiculous of google to think that once someone stores something on google drive for access for others that is then belongs to Google. Bugger off. My articles etc on there are my IP. I worked hard on them. I wonder how this affects my google docs that i already had in there….

This is a common misconception! All the blogs ‘conveniently’ left out this crucial paragraph from the beginning of the ToS:
“Some of our Services allow you to submit content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.”
