Vodafone’s latest weekly software update post outlined Android 4.0.4 “Ice Cream Sandwich” updates for the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Sony Xperia S. The Galaxy Note update hasn’t yet been submitted by Samsung to Vodafone, however it is on its way which is positive news. As for the Xperia S, the update has already hit Vodafone and they’re yet to start the testing process, though they say this is happening “shortly”.

Another quick highlight in the post is that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be receiving a maintenance update in the coming weeks/months ahead.

AT&T Galaxy Note users have apparently been receiving their Ice Cream Sandwichy goodness, but no luck with Telstra so far. There’s no mention of it on Telstra’s web site
http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/smartphones/ yet, so I’m trying to be patient xD
