To coincide nicely with the recent release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 here in Australia, the upcoming Android 4.1 update for the device has already found its way onto the internet in the form of a leak. The updates themselves — received exclusively by SamMobile — are seemingly early beta builds for internal testing, so if you are going to attempt to apply the update via a custom ROM, you’re mostly likely in for a bad time.

The fact there are these updates leaking now, means that the internal process should be well on the way towards completion – then on to carrier testing. The updates are applicable for the 3G version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 only, Wi-Fi owners should keep clear for now. There’s been no confirmed date for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to be released for the device.
