A little while ago — in fact, Monday last week — we put the call out for people who were interested in joining us to apply for an author position at Ausdroid.
We’ve received quite a number of applications, and we’re going through them now. Daniel, Matt, Buzz and myself are reviewing the applications we received, and we’ll hopefully have a shortlist of candidates within a few days.
We should stress at this point that the quality of the field is good — in fact, very good. This is usually the preface to a “sorry you weren’t successful”. However, we’re not saying that. We have no fixed number of authors we’d like to recruit — we could select one, two, four, or even none.
This exercise comes at an important time for Ausdroid, so we will be looking for people who can hit the ground running. Don’t worry, we’ll still give you all the training and support you need to be a part of the Ausdroid team. Thanks for your applications, or for considering putting one in.
