I ordered mine a few days so on the big plan 59. When I typed in fusion with a capital F it did say is was accepted. Can’t wait now to get the phone.

Am currently on Vodafone waiting to upgrade to the Note 2, but they’re taking forever so am seriously thinking of getting this from Virgib. Am not sure whether the Optus network is better in/around Brisbane cbd than Vodafone

Iain Simmons

I’d say anything is better than Vodafone. They just announced it on their network though (you might have seen the post on this site):
http://ausdroid.net/2012/11/27/vodafone-announce-samsung-galaxy-note-ii-available-in-store-and-online-from-december-5th/

It looks like it’s also cheaper with Virgin… plus Vodafone will always be behind when it comes to their LTE network…

I pre-ordered my Galaxy Note 2 over the phone today, and yes, they start shipping 3 Dec. Was able to negotiated 6 months half price access on $59 plan, I am an existing customer as well. If you have trouble getting the deal on-line, try negotiating over the phone 🙂

Van NexMilitis Griffeth

Thank you, I was wondering when the shipping day was. Ordered mine last week just before the pre-order time expired.
Much appreciated :3

boars

Anyone’s actually shipped yet?

Van NexMilitis Griffeth

Mine hasn’t shown up, and I haven’t gotten an email from Virgin on this :/
I am just hoping that it will show up in the next week ./sigh

boars

You should get an email as soon as it is shipped and your tracking code should then be usable.

I haven’t had a confirmation email yet either.

The whole shipping “from” the 3rd of December… I wonder if they even had any phones in stock at the time.

I was hoping to have it by the end of the week, I don’t think that’s going to happen sadly.

Van NexMilitis Griffeth

Yeah I am thinking you are right boars, I am going to give them a buzz when I get home tonight and see what they say :3

Jay

Rang ’em this afternoon, mine & my wife’s are being dispatched tomorrow for Friday delivery – can’t wait!!

boars

Thanks for letting us know… might have to go home early on friday…

Just as a tip to anyone who hasn’t received their first email, make sure to check your Spam folder as Google and Microsoft like to mark Virgin mail as spam XD

boars

Well mine arrived today, no email, not even in the spam… so I’ll be off to the post office at 6am 😀 Hazzah! Hopefully everyone elses magically materialises too! 🙂

I pre-ordered mine with virgin yesterday. Unfortunately that 50% off for 5 months deal isn’t available for the note 2, as the deal doesn’t apply for any iPhone or Samsung products.

Iain Simmons

Did you use the promo code “fusion”?

I’m seriously considering this, and wondering if I should get this instead of waiting for the next round of the Nexus 4…

lan

I did try the fusion code and it’s invalid. If you look at the fine print for the fusion deal you’ll see “^5 Months 50% off access fee: Savings of $222 available on Topless $89 plan. Offer only available online. New services only. Excludes BYO plans, all Samsung plans and all iPhone plans.”
I also forgot to mention they start shipping Dec 3rd in case people didn’t already know.

Andre Yanuarsia

^5 Months 50% off access fee: Offer only available online. New services only. Selected plans only. 24 month contract required. Excludes BYO plans, all iPhone plans and Samsung plans (excluding Galaxy Note II). that promotion should be applicable to Galaxy Note 2.

lan

Thanks for letting me know, annoying they changed it after I already pre-ordered mine. I’ll have to call them and hopefully they’ll honour that deal for me.

Chris

I got 50% off deal on the Note 2 by talking to them on the phone, after I placed the order online.

boars

Should be able to get 6months at 50%? I asked for 5 months and they just gave me 6 months instead? o_0 Not sure why they did so but anyone should be able to get the same if you ask I imagine.

boars

Scratch that… they now have a 3 months of 100% off – practically the same thing. Still, existing customers can just ring up the loyalty team and get the same deal, if not better.

Sean Royce

Can’t wait to see one in the wild. I’d love to have one.
