If you missed out on ordering a 16 GB Nexus 4 given both chances last week, there’s no need for despair (or an 8 GB model). The device is back in stock again on the Australian Play Store!
As before, we have no indication of how long the stock will last, but it’s encouraging to see it back again so soon.
While the Play store advises 2-3 week shipping, we are seeing orders placed last Thursday delivered to Australian customers already (I received mine on Monday).

Bought 1 when it became available on Jan 31. It said 2-3 weeks and resigned to wait that long but lo and behold i got my shipping email on Feb 2 and it was delivered on Feb 4! So hopefully it will be the same for you guys who just ordered!
My 5 day impression: Fantastic phone. Built and weight says premium but in an affordable price. You guys will love it! The only downside is the average battery life. Im not complaining though!

Always get and error after adding a 16GB into my cart and clicking on proceed button… 🙁 anyone else having the same issue?
Yes, I have been trying every hr or so since yesterday hoping that it has been fixed, but still doesn’t work. Not just the 16 GB, affects 8 GB as well, you can’t buy them. Why can’t they just say “Out of Stock” as usual, won’t be anything new.. and save us some time. :((
Me too. Same thing. Can’t get either 16gb or 8gb. Harvey Norman is out of stock in my area. Missed the 22 minute window in Nov 2012, missed the couple of hours last week, missed (if it was ever available seeing I got errors constantly) this weeks. It has no errors on a Nexus 7 but same errors for either Nexus 4.
I’m clearly not worthy. I’m a bit shattered by the experience actually.
I can add it to cart, but get an error when I proceed to checkout. Not again…
I have to say, the phone has exceeded my already high expectations. Build quality is far better than Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Finally like an iPhone, only better!

Ordered my 8gb (kept getting error for 16gb) last thursday around 11am and it hasnt shipped yet, looks like i will have to wait the 2 weeks…im a little peeved the 16gb is back up so soon after having to resort to the 8gb last week
if it has not shipped you can cancel it then re-order the 16. The email for the order tells you how.

Ballistic case seems the best (no Otterbox available – at least for me: just dropped my 1 month old Note 2 without a case and screen cracked…..costs almost the same as a Nexus 4 to repair so I ordered a Nexus instead. Back to horrible big cases for me.
Ballistic case for the Nexus 4? There’s only one available and it coast 100 bucks to have it sent to Australia. I’ve been looking into a rugged case and am still without one as I can’t find a good case whatsoever.
I ordered one from TheCellGuru for $31 inclusive of shipping (it will take a long time to get here though..)

Had been getting an error on the 8gb since yesterday, so gave up and got the 16gb when it was available again.
Yep I’m getting errors too… AGAIN… on both the 8GB and 16GB version… Seriously I’m really starting to hate Google.
