Though Samsung hasn’t really said too much about a possible Galaxy S 4 mini, the leaked details, user agent profiles showing up in log files, and even some thoughts from the Wall Street Journal tend to suggest that such a product not only is likely, but its arrival on market is imminent.

Chinese web service Weibo user PunkPanda has provided a number of photos of a device said to be the Galaxy S 4 mini. As you can see in the gallery below, it’s a little smaller than the Galaxy S 4 (duh, really?) but this might be a good size for some — the Galaxy S 4 is no small handset.

Rumoured to sport a 4.3″ display, a dual-core 1.6GHz processor and 8MP camera, there’s no word on pricing for the Galaxy S 4 mini just yet, but from what you see in the gallery, what do you think? Are you keen?

Honestly why cant any android manufacturers make a premium small phone. Its as if they arnt even wanting to compete with Apple in that segment

HTC M4 is promising, though we don’t know what SoC it’ll be running yet. 4.3″ 720p screen seems a nice sweet spot though.

Yep, 4.3 – 4.5 inch, Quad core, 2GB, 13 mega Pixel camera, Micro SD card. Make the damn thing a couple of extra MM thicker to keep decent battery life and give you space to cram it all in there and you have the perfect phone.

With a physical design that hasn’t changed significantly since the original Galaxy S and specs seemingly chosen to keep the cost as low as possible this is setting the bar for the next 12 months of budget smartphones.
