You’ve probably noticed Ausdroid has had a few hiccups over the last twelve hours. We’ve been working just about round the clock to get everything working A-OK again, and at the time of writing, things seem to be largely back to normal.

A big thanks from me to Alan at OrionVM for helping me fix up a few hiccups at a higher level, and to the team for bearing with me while I tinkered under the hood. Over the last few hours things have stabilised and you shouldn’t notice any major issues browsing the site, though there may be the occasional minor issue.

If you notice anything not working, please let us know and we’ll return to our normal service.

Also.. we’ll soon be announcing a new way you can view Ausdroid’s news, without having to visit our site on a desktop or mobile browser. Stay tuned …

Thanks: Alan and the team at Orion VM.

I’ll try this again, maybe typing the url is knocking back my comment? ausdroid(dot)net is redirecting me to auschrome.

    Yep, it was… Disqus doesn’t like ausdroid(dot)com.

Mobile theme doesn’t seem to be working properly for me. Otherwise, everything seems ok.

Yep, this is a known issue. It’ll be back soon.

A new way to view Ausdroid News, without a desktop or mobile browser?

Interesting, maybe using that thing that was made by printing on paper and sold at the shops, I forgot what that was called.

Not quite that bad! No, more like an Android app. Seems appropriate 😉
