Whilst the world awaits any confirmation of their latest device, the HTC One Max, it seems that the device details have been given away in a recently submitted filing with the FCC in the USA.
Although the filing did not specifically state nor give away the HTC One Max by name, it did instead referred to by the model number of 0P3P510 with a further reference to the device yet to be confirmed via reference to T6ULAs for the bit that brings the connection to the name specifically.
Whilst it might could possibly be a simple coincidence, we have seen the HTC One Max referred to in the past as the T6.
The filing doesn’t give very much away, but here is what we know so far from the FCC filing and a previous filing with the Chinese equivalent, the Tenna:
- 5.9-inch 1080p display
- quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 6GB of internal storage
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE Support
- LTE connectivity
- 4MP UltraPixel rear facing camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera
- MicroSD card support/slot
- 3300 mAh battery
- fingerprint scanner on the back
With the LTE wireless connectivity for the device, this points towards support for band 7 LTE connectivity which would imply a non-US model of the handset.
The dates we are hearing for the device launch is the rumoured to be October 17, although this has not been confirmed by the company to date, so we just have to wait and see if and when the HTC One Max will be made official.
