The seemingly overlarge Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 which has been rumoured for a while now has apparently shown up in the benchmarking site Antutu, offering a full list of what’s inside the tablet.

SamMobile advise that there will be two models of the Galaxy Note 12.2, an LTE-equipped version with the model #:SM-P905 and a WiFi only version with the model # : SM-P900. The model tested on Antutu appears to have a 12.2″ 2560ร—1600 (WQXGA) Display pixels (16:10 aspect ratio), 2.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC (8974-AA) with 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU, although SamMobile does theorise that it could possibly be an Exynos SoC in the WiFi only version. There is definitely 3GB RAM and the model tested appears to have 32GB of on-board storage with a microSD Card Slot. There’s an 8MP Rear Camera and 2.1MP Front-Facing camera and finally it will be running Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz/Nature UX straight out of the box.

Connectivity wise, the tablet should be arriving in the market with WiFi which includes 802.11 a/b/g/n as well as ac support, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE as well as an IR port as is common with most of the high end devices in the Samsung range now.

There’s two entries for SM-P905 in the Android Antutu App, neither of which will allow you to check them for further details. If you want to view the results, head on over to the source link. The tablet is tipped to be announced at Mobile World Congress in February, which is where the Galaxy Note 8 was announced last year, but with Samsung continuing to favour their Samsung UnPacked events to launch new products, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see one scheduled around that time either.

Are you in the market for a 12.2″ Stylus driven tablet?

Awesome, I’ve been hanging out for this device. Since getting the Note 2 I don’t need to carry a tablet as much so my iPad is mostly home based, or in a bag big enough for the 11.6″ Macbook Air, which means a 10″ biggest convenient size limit no longer applies. So the idea of the significantly larger screen combined with the awesome ‘S pen’ stylus that I use all the time with the Note 2 is making me happy in my geeky parts

I find the idea that there must be a containment line around size of a device a bit perplexing. Its about as useful as the question and answer should there only be small cars ? anything bigger is not required. I have the luxury of 2 tablets Note and Note2014. Both are good but Note2014 is heaps better. As for me I would certainly upgrade the Note to a 12inch tablet which would work well for me around the home. It has the big realestate screen that would make it much easier to read books, papers and every other app… Read more ยป

This is a little to big for me, although I still think tablets are a gimmick and a waste of money. Laptops are just more productive. I always just end up selling them months down the road. Just my opinion.
