Samsung-Unpacked_Invitation_SNS
Samsung has just announced that their next Unpacked event – Unpacked 5 – is scheduled to take place at 8PM CET in Barcelona on the 24th of February – the first day of Mobile World Congress.

The Unpacked events have so far been held to announce some pretty high flying devices, such as the Galaxy S series phones, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Gear. Just what an event called ‘Unpacked 5’ could show us is well, time to use your imagination, but bear in mind Samsung loves to include hints in their announcements.

While most of us can’t be there in person to see the event, we’ll all be able to watch via the Samsung Mobile Youtube channel where the event will be streamed live. The Good old Time & Date convertor page has given us the time conversion for the event, so if you’re keen to tune in and see what Samsung has to announce, see what time you need to get up on the 21st of February, and join us here on Ausdroid where we’ll be covering it for sure.

Hey, is it Feb 24th or 21st? Article says 24th but date and time chart says 21st.

Fixed – whoops.

MWC is only Episode 1, so no S5 yet. Samsung will held their own event for S5.

Galaxy note 8.0 version II, with amoled screen and corresponding price.

The stamp and the paper texture looks more like a Note series but I guess the 5 stands for the Galaxy S5. Looking forward to the event!!

Interesting. I hope they show off the S5. My SIII contract is nearly finished.

Galaxy S5?
