With Australians just getting used to seeing cards full of results for Rugby Union and the NRL in Google Now, Google has just added International Cricket teams and Indian Premier League Teams to Google Now.

Cricket - Google Now

While there’s no Australian Sheffield Shield, T20 Big Bash teams or English County Cricket teams included there is the full gamut of ICC teams – Australia, England, India, Pakistan…Bangladesh! – and as a bonus for the upcoming Indian Premier League which begins in April, all your favourite teams from the IPL are available to add.

Still now word on any other sports – AFL, A League etc – at this stage from Google, but Google tends to try and include as much data as possible to make Google Now as useful as possible so hopefully there may be something soon.

Which Team are you following on Google Now? What sports would you like to see added?

It’s not showing up when trying to add a team in Google Now Settings?

Nice! There’s a serious lack of proper cricket apps other than Cricinfo’s own app, at least this should make score notifications better than what we get currently…
