Nokia X Stacked
The Nokia X is an intriguing phone, it’s a Nokia designed handset which instead of running Windows Phone, runs Android. It’s also now available to purchase from Yatango Mobile for just $129.

There’s four colour options available – Green, Red, Black and White – but you’re not locked to a plan, the phones are sold unlocked and ready to go. They are limited though, with support for 900/2100MHz 3G frequencies only and no 4G options.

Hardware wise, the baseline price is reflected in the low-end specs which feature a Dual core 1GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 512MB RAM, 1.2GB of usable storage but with a microSD card slot. It’s got a 3MP fixed focus camera on the rear and no front-facing camera. It runs the ‘Nokia X software platform’ atop Android 4.1.2 but it’s a completely new launcher.

If you’re interested in ordering there’s a $17 delivery fee on handsets under $1000, which the Nokia X definitely falls under, and Yatango advise me that the handset is currently in-stock. We have a Nokia X and are currently reviewing it, look out for that review in the next couple of days.

$129 + $17 for a semi baked android without Gapps…..or is it better to wait for Moto E?

My opinion is wait for the Moto E.
With a measly 1.2Gb on board storage as stock, how little of that would likely be left after forcing Gapps on it?

    Or likely Mapps 😉
