wpid-wp-1400271565112.pngA little while back, when an update to the Google Search for Android app showed some hidden strings, it looked as if Google Now was going to remind you to pay your bills.

Now, it seems, it will be doing precisely that. Shown above, the Bill Reminder card will appear when a bill notification of some kind is scraped from your Gmail account. Notification cards will display a bill’s payee, amount owed, due date and an option to display the email that the information came from.

It seems to be fairly tightly integrated, and there’s not really any indication of how many billers are supported. As with most things it’ll probably be a case of trial and error to see which of your bills will appear.

Google Now updates are usually fairly invisible to the end user, so while the Android app now supports this, whether you’ll start seeing these cards flowing through could be a matter of time, luck, or alignment of the planets.

Have you seen it? Let us know which bills showed up.
