While the Moto 360 won’t be arriving today, a good many are likely to receive Samsung Gear Lives or LG G Watches today, and I think it’s fair to say we’re all pretty excited.

It’s a personal thing I know… But I am so glad I changed my order to the Gear Live. This is one awesome piece of kit compared to my Sony. I was worried that I made the wrong decision but not any more. Can’t really see the pixels at all. Now to find out if I will indeed get a whole day out of it…
I got the same… Fits my wrist beautifully! One of my normal analogue watches is way bigger than the gear live. Been playing with it for the last hour. It’s pretty awesome. Charging up now to see how the battery goes tomorrow. The only thing that concerns me is the band and how easily it could be flicked off.
My band is very secure and comfortable. I understand the fear but I think the tension on the clips is going to keep mine extremely secure. Passed the shower test and it charges fast. Wish I had another charge clip for work! That is where I want to charge it but weekends mean that I have to remember to bring it home. I only intend to take it off for charging… Already passed the shower test and bed test. Thinking about buying another for an instant recharge switch over! Addicted. These things are going to be revolutionary.
First full day with the watch and I am definitely less worried about the band. It does clip very securely. Some of my work is physical in a warehouse though so I will probably switch it for something that will stay closed like a normal watch band… Just to be sure. First day of use and more than happy with this watch… You’re right they are awesome… So convenient!
Finally!! 5:35pm! It’s here… Lilydale, Victoria. Poor driver was so overworked I invited him in for a cold water! He still had 7 deliveries to go in neighboring suburbs.
Toll investigating where the driver is!
No luck for me (central Vic country). Rang toll and they said tomorrow. I’m so impatient.
Toll told me by 5pm today but no show… It was on the van, I think it’s gone back to the depot!

Mine arrived a little before 2pm. First impressions are that getting used to the swiping is a little odd… but it seems to work pretty well.

My Gear Live arrived this morning at 8:30! Working really well so far.
Still has a long way to go to catch up to Pebble’s functionality – but the design and integration with Android is streets ahead of Pebble.
I can’t wait to get my Live – I’ve grown tired of my Pebble. Since the 2.x updates, the battery lasts about a day and a half. Email notifications are pointless on my HTC (“1 Email received” – that’s it) unless I use a third-party plugin like Pebble Notifiier. Even then, only one line of the email is visible on screen unless I scroll down.
Got my GWatch at around 12. Guy I work with that also ordered a GWatch got his at around 11:45.
My next door neighbor’s dog keeps barking and I keep thinking it’s the courier guy! AARRRGGHH!

Im skipping through my playlist on Google music, replying to texts by voice (Yes my workmates are already annoyed) and keeping track of my steps. Love it. Plus its smaller than I thought, great for my tiny girl wrist’s 🙂
Actually I’m surprised how small it is, I too have have girl wrist syndrome and I was worried how it would look.

Just had one Toll guy come into the office. I thought it was my delivery so I let him go and when I opened the box I realized it was something else. So disappointed right now.

Melbourne CBD, still waiting for my LG to arrive, tracking says Out for Delivery as of 9.35am this morning. I seem to recall when waiting for my Nexus 5, it wasn’t delivered until the afternoon, so hoping it’s not far away

When did yours ship guys? Mine didn’t ship until Friday 4/7 after I ordered on the Tuesday 1/7.
I dont think any shipped before Friday.
Mine say record created at 11:41am and departed operations facility 9:07pm.
Ok cool. Mine says Out for Delivery 9:50am this morning, so Hopefully I’ll see it soon. 🙂

In Canberra. On a truck. Except I called Toll and asked them to hold it at the depot so I could pick it up. Not Happy Toll.
In most cases, the courier company needs to attempt the delivery once before they will hold it. Silly I know, I’ve tried many times to get them to hold it.
Where is the depot? I’m assuming I’ll have a slip at home. Cheers
