Xperia Z3 manufacturing is ramping up, indicates impending announcement

The Sony Xperia Z3 has been just about leaked everywhere, but we like the looks of the upcoming Sony device, so why not check out the manufacturing process? That’s what’s happening in this latest round of photos showing the phone in different stages of assembly, with a factory worker showing off the innards and outers of the handset.

The leak shows off the phone in a gloss white, although we have also seen the phone in black in previous leaks. The question now, is whether the phone will be joined by the Purple or by the mint colour that Sony introduced with their ‘Selfie’ phone the Xperia C3.

As you can see we get a nice shot of a suited up factory worker, who appears to be rocking a Nexus phone judging by the curved top of the phone.

Thanks to evLeaks, we know that the Xperia Z3 will arrive with a 2.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor and Adreno 330 GPU, a 5.15″ 1080P Screen, 3GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It will also be featuring the same 20.7MP Rear camera of the previous Xperia Zx models, as well as a 2.1MP Front-Facing camera. The Xperia Z3 will arrive running Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat) with the usual Sony Xperia software tweaks.

We should be seeing the announcement of the Xperia Z3 at IFA in early September, so keep an eye out for that.
