Motorola-
The sequel to the most successful Android phone ever released by Motorola – the Moto G – is expected to come at the event announced for September 4th in Chicago, but the phone just doesn’t want to stay under wraps showing up today in a series of leaks which show off the phone and new coloured rear shells.

It’s a series of 8 photos on the Hellomotohk Facebook page, the Moto G2 is shown off with an upsized screen which HellomotoHK claim has been updated to 5¨, confirming our information about the phone. Also shown off is the dual-SIM card slots, which also matches the planned launch of the phone in Australia.

The top of the phone shows a mid-mount 3.5mm headphone jack and a variety of coloured rear shells are shown off which should be available for separate purchase.

We should be seeing this phone in Australia fairly soon after launch, with our tipster advising a price of $299. We’ll know more soon after the official announcement on September 4th.

Bought the wife a Moto G back in February. Best fone she ever used . If the next Moto G is still dual SIM (though single SIM would not be a show stopper) , LTE and a 5″ display I’ll be replacing my trusty old Nexus 4 with it..
looking forward to next week to see what comes out..

I bought a Moto G when my LG G2 had to go on for repair and it’s been awesome. It totally exceeded my expectations and in a way I’ll be sad to go back to my LG G2 (which is also a great phone). If the Moto G is anything to go the the Moto G2 should be amazing.
